This Week’s Question:

How reliable can you say you are in terms of having promised reviews completed for blog tours or publisher and author requests?

Since I’m fairly new on the blog tour and author request front, I’ve been able to deliver on every promised review I have made. However, as I get more requests in, I realize I need to be careful about over-scheduling myself. I still want to be able to choose some of the books I read. I mean, obviously I’m choosing to participate in blog tours and accepting author requests. What I mean is, when the new Walking Dead book comes out, I want to be able to read it right away if I want to. I guess as I get more accustomed to blogging so frequently, I’ll continuously review and revise my scheduling, my requests and what not. But I think I’m holding up well enough so far!

  1. Oh yes…once you get established and start to get many requests, you definitely need to have a plan or you will become overwhelmed.

    Nice answer.

    My Blog Hop Answer

    • I already have a dry erase board with all my books (plus netgalley ones) that need to be read for the next month. I just erase them as I get through them. I also have a monthly calendar dry erase board that has blog tour dates noted and what promised dates for author requests. I’ve become more organize doing this. But I still find myself suddenly realizing how much I’ve piled on my plate.
